What to Expect

Here are some other helpful things you should know before your visit to the
Brighton Center for Pediatric Neurodevelopment:

We evaluate and treat individuals as young as 14 months old and up through adulthood.

We do not directly bill insurance companies for services, but we do provide all the relevant documentation an individual would need to seek reimbursement through their insurance given that the individual has those covered benefits. We do, however, accept HSA/FSA if you have that benefit. We are also happy to provide all the appropriate coding for you to verify your reimbursement ability prior to your visit with us.

We make the experience safe and fun for all involved.
To ensure a focused and comfortable assessment environment, we kindly request that only the scheduled individual and a parent/legal guardian attend their appointment. Additional attendees can be distracting and adversely affect test results, resulting in an assessment being invalid.

We understand that unexpected situations arise. However, to ensure we can provide the best and most timely care possible to the families that we serve, we have the following
no-show/cancellation policy in place: Any cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time will be charged the full fee for the scheduled appointment. Exceptions to this policy are determined on a case by case basis.

Current IEPs and reports from previous evaluations can be helpful for our providers to review prior to your appointment.  If you have this documentation available, please submit those documents to our office email at office@bcpn.org.

Caregivers receive a full testing report, including recommendations (if applicable),  following the evaluation.
